Privacy Policy
Sample policy for a demo site. Have the shop review this before launch. Last updated: October 2026.
The short version
We collect as little as possible. We never sell your information, and nothing optional loads until you say yes.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, phone number and message, so we can reply. Messages are stored by our host, Netlify, and deleted when no longer needed.
- Cookie choice: saved in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. It never leaves your device.
- Analytics (only if you allow it): if we turn on Google Analytics, it records which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are and what device they use, to help us improve the site. It sets cookies only after you choose "Accept all" or turn on Analytics.
We don't sell your personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or share it with data brokers. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Third-party services
- Square Appointments and Square gift cards: booking and gift card purchases happen on Square's site under Square's privacy policy. We never see or store card details.
- Google Maps: the interactive map only loads if you allow "Maps and embedded media" or press "Load map". Google may then set cookies.
- Google Analytics: loads only with your permission, as described above.
- Netlify: our web host processes basic request data, like IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
Our fonts and all other site files are served from our own site, so no other company receives your information just because you visit.
Your choices
- Change your cookie choices at any time from cookie settings, or clear this site's data in your browser. Turning Analytics off also deletes its cookies.
- We honor Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends this signal, analytics stay off automatically.
- To see, correct or delete a message you sent us, call (301) 555-0123. We'll respond within 45 days.
Keeping information safe
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS and uses strict security settings. We keep messages only as long as we need them to reply, and we'll tell you as the law requires if a security problem ever affects your information.
